Little did I know at the time was that riding that board and the super late takeoffs would stand me good stead for the North Shore which I visited in the winter of 1974. I think I was the first British surfer to live at Backyards and purely ride Sunset.I shall get some of my old photos to send to you. It had a bed sheet with white and blueish green stripes on the bottom. I sure wish I still had it! I bought it from you. After that I went to Hawaii for 3 years and surfed The North shore. What a great time was that. I am still surfing and live in Huntington Beach. I have a house in southern Southern Costa Rica and am still surfing. Hi Bing,
