Cardiff by the Sea’s Devon Howard rides a Tyler Surfboards 9’6″ Double Stepdeck, with 10″ 4A Greenough single-fin. The outline of this board was inspired by those being ridden by Nat Young, Bob McTavish, Russell Hughes, Peter Drouyn, and Midget Farrelly in the 1967 surf film Hot Generation, by Paul Witzig.
