Compelled to spend his entire life riding waves, Bob McTavish started building surfboards in 1962. Ryan Lovelace at Glide Surf Co's glassing and shaping studio, The Heavens. This photograph was taken with black and white 35mm film. Black and white film is timeless, something that lends itself well to Ryan’s style of shaping. Noticeable dust marks were left unedited on the photos to recreate the feeling of the foam filled shaping bay.
