Ryan Lovelace at Glide Surf Co's glassing and shaping studio, The Heavens. This photograph was taken with black and white 35mm film. Black and white film is timeless, something that lends itself well to Ryan’s style of shaping. Noticeable dust marks were left unedited on the photos to recreate the feeling of the foam filled shaping bay. Oldfield is the creator of the award winning left of centre surf films 'Lines From a Poem', 'Seaworthy' and 'The Heart & The Sea.' The film features the enigmatic and free-thinking Dave Rastovich at home in the sacred playgrounds of the Far North Coast of New South Wales.
